Lower Belly Panel

This Mexican Learjet 24 flew into Spectra Jet (SGH) to have a 12 year inspection.

Upon arrivial, the right aft belly panel was found missing.

A new panel was purchased, however, due to the early serial number of the aircraft, it didn't fit.

A new panel was fabricated from the pieces and by using the new panel and left side as templates.

This was all that was left of the right aft belly panel on this Learjet 24.

A new panel was purchased, however it didn't fit, another solution was sought.

After layout of the panel  and measuring the compound curves, the panel was formed.

After trimming excess metal,  the panel was fit to the aircraft.

The final fitting, after painting it was good as new.
